May 2022 – Morley®, makers of pedals, switchers and audio solutions, is proud to announce the release of the Immortals Series George Lynch Dragon 2 Wah Pedal. This new pedal is a reissue of George’s Dragon 2 Wah originally released in the 2000’s but now in Morley’s 20/20 pedalboard friendly size. It has upgraded circuitry and a stunning new look.
Just like the original Dragon 2 Wah the new version has Morley’s famed Switchless Activation. Simply step on the treadle to activate and step off to Bypass. George Lynch States: “You put your foot on it… You don’t have to think about… I can’t tell you how many times this has happened to me and probably every other Guitar player with a Wah Wah pedal where you stomp on the pedal and you didn’t disengage it… You end up in the Treble position of the Wah Wah pedal for the rest of the song…”
The next major feature is the Wah Lock Mode which emulates a cocked Wah. George Lynch States: “You don’t have to think about cocking the Wah at any certain frequency, it’s already predetermined.” This feature greatly complements the Switchless Activation giving players the best of both worlds.
In addition, it also has the WoW Mode, which shifts the envelope of the Wah over for a very deep and vocal Wah Tone. George wanted to emulate a mysterious and extreme Wah Wah pedal he heard on records in the 70’s. Lastly, the entire treadle rubber glows in the dark which is not only visually appealing but helps to locate the Wah when you need it most on a dark stage.
